========================== Reader's POV ================================

“HEY!!!LUDWIG!!! ARE YOU OK?! HEY!!” I screamed as I almost dropped the cup of coffee and his,supposed to be, snacks. I went near him to check if he’s alright. He’s saying something in german and later on he screamed as he tightly clenched his hands on his head. Headache? I don’t know. “Ludwig, what’s wrong?! Does it really hurt that much?! Do you want me to call an ambulance?!” I asked him which I doubt he understand all of the things I’ve said to him.
I saw him struggling from the pain he had right now. I don’t like to see him suffering like this. I tilted his chin a little so that I can see him…and when I saw his face, he’s in pain. ‘His vision doesn’t seem to focus well’ I thought to myself as a look closely at his eyes. They’re dull, full of pain, and is like fighting to stay awake. But I noticed that he started to close his eyes little by little until he fell unconcscious. ‘This is not good’, I thought as I hurriedly dialed the emergency number. ‘Hang on Ludwig. Everything will be alright, I hope…’

========================== Ludwig’s POV =============================  

I slowly open my eyes as I squint to the sudden bright light. I blinked my eyes a few more times to adjust and minutes later I take a look at my surroundings. It’s all plain white. White bed sheets, blankets, curtains. Everything was white. I observed myself and noticed some differences. I have a tube-like thing that was attached to one of my hands and it’s connected to some watery substance. ‘Hospital’ was the first thing that popped up in my head as I further observe my surroundings. There in the further left corner of the room was my brüder,sleeping in a chair with a blanket wrapped around him. In my brüder’s arms, he held a bird stuff toy and a real bird (Gilbird) sleeping on top of his head while he sleep. He really loved Gilbird. As I look on my right, I saw _______ holding my other hand tightly. She’s also fast asleep. As I observe her face, I saw that her face were full of tears that had dried. How long did she cry for me? And who am I to her? Why does she cared me so much if I just met her a few days ago?
I carefully think if I really met her before or just a few days ago. But no matter how I think, nothing comes in my mind. “LUDWIG!!! THANK GOODNESS YOU’RE ALIVE!!!!!” I jolt from the sudden noise and before I turn around to look who it is, a person suddenly hugged me. “KESESESE!!!~ HOW ARE YOU DEAR BRÜDER???!!!!!”

“Um… I’m fine...”I said it in a low voice “…there’s no need to shout..” “Kesesese~ But you’re awesome brüder is awesomely worried.” “hmm…” ______ yawned as she rubbed her sleepy eyes “Good morning, Gil. Is Ludwig awake?” “I’m awake now, fraulein.” I replied then she suddenly hugged me. I blushed at the close contact of my body to hers. “How are you feeling, Luddy?” “I’m fine.” I shortly replied. “Good to hear!”, she said giving me a quick kiss in the cheek. WHAT THE-!!! DID SHE JUST…!!! Now I’m getting redder at the moment. “kesesese~ looks like mein kleine brüder likes the kiss, ja?” “sh-shut up!” “kesesesese~come on admit it.” I buried my head under my pillow. “please leave me alone.” “Nah! I still have a matter to discuss with you, brüder.” This is the first time I heard a tint of seriousness in Gilbert’s voice. “Well, do you mind if you give us a little privacy, _______. It’ll only take a minute.” Gilbert said as he guide _____ towards the door. “ok but be sure to be quick.” Gilbert nodded as  _______ left the room.
“So what do you want to discuss with me, brüder?” I asked him.

“I’ll be discussing and,at the same time, asking you afterwards.” He replied. “Just go to the point already.” “Very well.” He said as he grabbed a chair and sit next to me. “Tell me. What are your dreams every night? I often hear you scream every now and then. What’s troubling you?” he asked. “…..it’s… I don’t know but.....ok...In my dream,… I’m at war….” I said as he absorbed every details. “….I’m involved there…..and….. I shielded a girl from the grenade that was about to hit her…and then…the next part was I saw that same girl, crying beside me then afterwards-….” “Afterwards, what?” he asked curiously. “My dream ended,of course.” I said. “Wait! That’s it?!” He looked like he’s not satisfied with my story. “What do you expect it to be? That’s it! No more, no less!” I replied. “Anyway why are you curious though?” “kesesese~ anyway, let’s go back to the topic. Do you recognize the girl in your dream?” “The girl is _____. I don’t know why she’s crying.” “You little dummkopft! She’s crying because of you!” Gilbert replied. “How do you know if that’s the reason why she cried?” I asked.

”umm…well…” “Don’t hide anything from me, brüder. Tell me.” I asked. Now I turn the tables and it’s time for him to answer my questions. “Well then. Since I don’t want  _______ to hurt any longer, I guess it’s time to tell you. Maybe this’ll help your memory to return.” He said.”I want you to listen carefully because this’ll be a long story.” He continued. “Then what is it?” I asked as I ready myself to listen to his story.

“It all started 5 years ago…” He started.
